Description
8.8oz ( 250g ) Dried Herb, Polygala Root / SenegaPolygalas are commonly known as milkworts or snakeroots.
The genus name Polygala comes from the ancient Greek "much milk", as the plant was thought to increase milk yields in cattle.
The roots often have a scent reminiscent of wintergreen.
Polygala senega is a species of flowering plant in the milkwort family, Polygalaceae.
The root product is called Senegae Radix, Radix Senegae, or simply senega.
Tea brewing method -
1. Rinse the herbs with cold running water then soak it for 30min.
2. Water : Herbs ( 2liters : 30g )
3. Bring to a boil, lower the heat and simmer for 30min ~ 2hr or more. ( Roots, Seeds or Fruits : 1hr - 2hr / Loose leaves : 10min-30min )
