NOTES
Product Notes:
A separate Air Dyer must be used inline while plasma cutting.
To change from TIG to Plasma operation, both the input gas supply, regulator and the torches must be swapped over. Only one torch can be connected at any given time.
Remember: The TIG and plasma torch are always connected to the negative terminal. Generally, the Stick holder is connected to the positive terminal for most welding electrodes.
NOTE: For use with generators, this welder requires a MINIMUM of 10,000 watts of continuous output and be designated as "clean power" by the generator manufacturer. For best results, a higher output generator may be required. Use with generators not designated by the generator manufacturer as a "clean" power source may void warranty.
MINIMUM/MAXIMUM
TIG single pass capability
Steel: 36 ga. - 3/8"
Aluminum: 24 ga. - 1/4"
Stick electrode diameter capability:
1/16"-1/8"
Plasma Cutting capability* ( with dry air, new consumables, proper air pressure etc.)
up to 1/2" daily use @ 15-20 ipm
up to 5/8" clean cut @ 8-12 ipm
up to 3/4" severance cut @ 3-5 ipm
*Quality and capacity of cut depends upon consumable orifice size, standoff height, travel speed, etc.
