    Description

    Spa Hot Tub Heater 5.5kW 240v NEW 15-1/2" length, fits older Cal Spas controls, originally designed for Cal Spa
    controls, it has a non-standard length of 15-1/2" flange to flange (the common length for flo-thru heaters is 15.0").
    See photos for details of the mounting studs. This one may also be used as a generic flo-thru heater in new projects
    where the 15-1/2" length is appropriate. Matching model numbers were

    Has a capture plate to hold temperature sensors firmly to the housing.

    It includes a guide instructing that no power must be applied until good water flow is well established, no air in
    the piping, to avoid 'dry-fire' of the element, to avoid burning up the element, which is standard procedure
    for any good flo-thru spa heater. The element is a replaceable type. There is a pressure switch 1/8 NPT tapped hole.
